BLAKE SPENT A WEEK IN SAN ANTONIA, TAKING PHOTOS AT DIFFERENT TIMES
OF THE DAY. FROM HIS PHOTOS, HE PAINTED THIS ALAMO PICTURE. HIS COUSIN,
JOHN FARRELL, HAD COMMISSIONED HIM TO PAINT HIM AN ALAMO PICTURE
AND JOHN WANTED THE PICTURE TO INCLUDE MODERN TANKS AND OTHER
WARFARE ATTACKING THE ALAMO. UPON COMPLETING THE PAINTING, JOHN
REFUSED THE PAINTING BECAUSE IT DID NOT INCLUDE THE REQUESTED
MODERN WARFARE. BLAKE COULD NOT BRING HIMSELF TO DISRESPECT THE
ALAMO, SO HE LEFT OUT JOHN'S REQUEST.
