UPDATED 11/11/16

JUST READ A VERY SAD ARTICLE IN THE CHRONICLE. A MEMORIAL TO WW I VETS
IN HAWAII HAS FALLEN INTO RUSTY DISARRAY AND IS NO LONGER FUNCTIONAL.
THIS MEMORIAL WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1927 HONORING 10,000 HAWAIIAN soldiers
WHO DIED IN WW I AND NOW NO ONE REMEMBERS THEM. ARE WE REACHING
THAT WITH OUR LOVED ONES WHO FOUGHT FOR OUR FREEDOM? I PRAY NOT..
.....

DAGWOOD AND ELMO HAVE IT RIGHT!!!

WE SALUTE ALL OF OUR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO HAVE GRACIOUSLY
SERVED OUR COUNTRY.

CAN YOU REMEMBER WHEN EVERYONE SHOWED PRIDE AND THANKED OUR
TROOPS FOR WHAT THEY DID?

DON'T YOU LONG FOR THOSE DAYS AGAIN?

WHERE DID AMERICA GET SO OFF BASE IN NOT REALIZING THAT WERE  IT NOT
FOR OUR PRECIOUS ARMED FORCES FIGHTING AND DYING FOR OUR FREEDOM,
WE WOULD NOT ENJOY THE FREEDOM THAT WE POSSESS TODAY?

MAY GOD BLESS OUR MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVED AND ARE SERVING!! THESE
BRAVE  SOLDIERS GAVE US OUR FREEDOM.....
AND MAY GOD TOUCH THE HEARTS OF THOSE WHO ENJOY THAT SAME FREEDOM,
BUT REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE IT.
