EXPLANATION OF THE BLANK PAGE
"WHAT THE NEW TESTAMENT TEACHES ABOUT INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC FOR WORSHIP"

There is NO scripture for the use of instrument music for worship.
After Christ ascended and the Church was established, the early churches had No musical
instrument during worship. THE ONLY INSTRUMENT WAS THE HUMAN VOICE AND SO IT
SHOULD BE TODAY.

I Cor. 14:15 "I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding.

EPH. 5: 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and Spiritual Songs and making melody
in your heart.
Col. 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one
another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord

The Church of Christ believes we should not add or takeaway from what the Bible teaches;
where the bible is silent we believe we should remain silent. If there is no New Testament
command to use an instrument, we do not believe an instrument should be used. You may say,
"Well it does not say, NOT to use musical instruments." We believe you should not use anything
during worship unless it is commanded. The only command is to SING WITH THE SPIRIT AND
THE UNDERSTANDING.
