This is indeed a special day of remembrance. My Great Grandmother, Mattie Roberts was born on this day,
Aug 17, 1864 and she died October 28, 1946 at age 82. This picture shows me with Grandma and Grandpa in
their backyard in about 1943 I figure. Grandma was a very sweet and kind lady, who never had any modern
conveniences, yet stayed happy and always had a smile on her face.

Today is also the birthday of my dear sister, Vivien Leigh Powers Ingram. She was born this day, August 17, 1940, Grandma
was 76 on the day she was born. Vivien and her baby died on October 14, 1967, when Vivien was only 27. Her husband, Billy Mack
Ingram died a few days later. I don't know if the same birthday affords the same personality, but Vivien and Grandmother both were
similar. They loved and got along with everyone. They both showed kindness to everyone and always had a smile on their face.
