ART LeCOQ'S COMMENTS re: Brother Gene's passing
return to brother's comments

Brother Dennis:
After dinner this evening, I read your moving and heartfelt memorial to your
brother and dear long time friend  ----
Being a little older than the two of you, I
really didn't get to know and interface with either of you very well ---But to read
your memorial to Gene, I certainly feel that I knew him forever !
Take solace,
brother, in your overwhelming grief and stress and pick up your Bible ---
Read, and ponder the words in Matthew 11. 25-30 .  We have all read these
words countless times, but they will give you a perspective to face this
grievous time.
25  At that time Jesus said, "Father, Lord of heaven and earth!  I
thank you because you have shown to the unlearned what you have hidden from
the wise and learned. 26  Yes, Father, this was how you were pleased to have it
happen.27  "My Father has given me all things.  No one knows the Son except the
Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son
chooses to reveal him.  28  Come to me, all of you who are tired from caring
heavy loads, and I will give you rest.  29  Take my yoke and put it on you, and
learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit; and you will find rest.
30  For the yoke I will give you is easy, and the load I will put on you is light. "
Dennis, your friend is now in the presence of the Son who has surely revealed the
Father, and they have taken him in and will give him the eternal rest that he so
richly deserves !  Know all these things in your heart ! Grace and Peace to you
and all Honor to his Name

Veeg-
Feel free to share this with Ben or any of his other closest million friends ---
Hopefully they can find peace and solace in His words ---
Obviously,  many of our "Bro's" are hurting in their heart and need their "load" to
be lightened !
