MALAKOFF FOOTBALL RECORD 1927-1950

The Malakoff Football team of 2010 has our
attention and our respect. In a 1950 Malakoff News, we find that there have been
several similar Malakoff teams. Below is listed the coaches and the records of
the teams from 1927-1950.
Eddie was at the 1950 Elkhart game. According to Eddie, Elkhart won the
1950 bi-district game, played in Palestine but a very close score, something
like 25-21. Malakoff had the game won until one of our backs had the ball taken
away from him and run back for a late Elkart touchdown. I was at that game, and
remember the sick feeling we had when they scored.
