Does anyone remember Phil Hall? I remember when I was a pledge and I suppose Phil was
also, the actives took us on a walk. They took us all out in the middle of no where. Somewhere
out of Beaumont, but I do not remember where. All I know is there was a group of us that they
dropped off with no money, no transportation and if I remember correctly it was cool. It
turned out, where they dropped us off was near Phil Hall's Uncle place. We walked to Phil's
Uncle's house (a short walk) and Phil's Uncle carried us back to Lamar. We beat the actives
back. Does anyone else remember this? Write me if you remember this story. Send to

Sigma Chi Pledges 1962? I don't know the exact date of this pledge class, but I believe it is the fall of '62.
I graduated in Spring of '62 and I was working in Houston when these pledges arrived.
